A celebration of love, hmm? Ah, it is important to show love on every day of the year, but why not use a special day to focus on such? It is an important part of being a human. Love for one's beloved, one's friends, family, allies and people. Yes. To appreciate such things is essential, is it not?

Thus, the New Year has come. A new beginning, a new cycle even... what will the City bring for us? We cannot know, but let us face it with dignity, wisdom and courage. With the strength of nine bulls and two tigers, we shall overcome whatever is directed at us.

This festival looks most enjoyable. We shall do as we would normally do back home for New Years, Jiang Wei. Let us take part and enjoy what is on offer, and what we can provide for ourselves.

Tomorrow, we shall remember those lost to us.

The deities bring things from our homes. They brought something of mine, within that lot. A small token from my wife, which she gave to me a long time ago, when we were newlyweds. It is a lock of her hair sealed within a small velvet pouch. A simple item, one that grants no power, but... I am happy beyond words to grasp it in my hands. A connection to Yue Ying. Not as comforting a presence as my Lady herself, but something. A token of great meaning to me. I shall keep it on my person at all times.

Mayhap other citizens are receiving such items. May they bring you all hope and happiness.
