May I advise you both to be wary. Zhou Yu is in the City and has already tried to hack through my filters. He was unsuccessful, but his feelings towards me are not positive. He may only be in the planning stages as of yet, but that is no reason to act without caution.

A celebration of love, hmm? Ah, it is important to show love on every day of the year, but why not use a special day to focus on such? It is an important part of being a human. Love for one's beloved, one's friends, family, allies and people. Yes. To appreciate such things is essential, is it not?

May you fly in the sky like the legendary horse Fei Huang! Success in your endeavours, oh City.

Thus, the New Year has come. A new beginning, a new cycle even... what will the City bring for us? We cannot know, but let us face it with dignity, wisdom and courage. With the strength of nine bulls and two tigers, we shall overcome whatever is directed at us.

This festival looks most enjoyable. We shall do as we would normally do back home for New Years, Jiang Wei. Let us take part and enjoy what is on offer, and what we can provide for ourselves.

I have researched into this spell, and I am sorry to tell you that the results were not good.

It can only be reversed after approximately two days of being cast. After this time, the personality becomes too deeply ingrained and 'real' for any reversal to work. For all intents and purposes, he upon whom this was cast now possesses two distinct, but equally real personalities. You have experience of this type of condition, I believe, in the silver-haired Mitsuhide, who possesses the 'Eternal Child' and 'Reaper' sides to his nature.

It is impossible to clap with one hand; should you need further assistance in any manner, please, ask of me. I have this wisdom, and it is for the good of all that I should use it. I shall continue to look into this and see whether or not it is possible to deal with the magic via another conduit.

An interesting curse.

I appear to be some kind of toy dragon. This form has the benefit of flight to it, so I am at least able to be more mobile than many others are in their shapes.

Reading thousands of books is not as useful as travelling for a thousand miles; every experience that I may partake in gives me new perspectives and new wisdom that no book could ever give me. I shall take this opportunity, and gift of flight for the day, and utilise it as best I can.

Yesterday was indeed fascinating. An interesting culture, one I researched much into today, but the curse plagued us with many unsavory events, such as seems to be most frequently in their nature. Slavery is truly an abhorrent practise, one that cannot be allowed, and to see my own student forced to work as such, a personal strike against me.

I believe I dealt with it as necessary, in the calm manner one must take in such situations. To give in to temper is to lose the ability to rationalise properly. So it is.

Indigo blue is obtained from the indigo plant, but such color is bluer than the plant itself. How true is this... as generations gain new wisdom, thus the disciple must one day surpass their master. I shall be glad to see Jiang Wei fulfill his potential and when I one day pass on, I shall surely watch him come to greatness from the heavens. Yes... so it shall be so. I am certain of it. I pray only that Lord Liu Chan's fearful nature does not damage Shu as he grows older. I am weary of such things, but in death there will be nothing I can do.

I must put my faith in the heavens, and hope that my student shall be allowed to fully utilise the potential he has for the sake of Shu.

The use of slaves in any society is abhorrent. No innocents should be put to such work. I will see that this situation is remedied. For hurting my student, for hurting all, I shall punish you.

Mitsuhide, Sun Ce, your efforts are gallant. Let us coordianate these efforts and lead these people to freedom.

There is an odd air about that City. It seems to have affected me, for my thirst for knowledge has heightened greatly. I see no reason to resist such a situation, but I shall instead use this motivation to discover as much as I can.

The vast pots of information and wisdom gathered in this City is astonishing beyond words. I am considered extremely wise in my age, but with what I learn here, I can continue to grow and become wiser and more knowledgeable than before.

The heavens, though darkened and foreboding for so long, speak of hope and reassurance, at least for now. The stars in this place are not identical to the ones I know, but they speak enough to me to convince me that war is over, for now. Once the last of the Stewards are destroyed, the recovery of the City may begin. I do not think we need fear these harpies. When connected to the videos posted on the network, I have a suspicion that I believe shall prove to be true, as time passes.

The City shall back under the order it once knew, as much as it could be called order. That is what I think.

Thus, it begins. The enemy shows its true colours at last. No act of kindness do they bring, but a desire to take people of this City for their own gain. What exact gain that is, we have yet to know, but we must take a stand. I see a resistance is already being organised, and I wish to help. I am very wise, a strategist and commander for the army of my kingdom and also its prime minister. I speak not with arrogance, only with truth, and offer my gifts for the good of all. I am also very able with magics, which I suspect will become very useful soon; elemental powers, seals and other newly learnt abilities.

Those who seek to strip souls of their freedom must not be tolerated. This enemy has attacked the wrong City; the variety of peoples here, and their gifts and powers, is surely unknown anywhere else.

This is troubling indeed... it does not feel like a curse...

Any with weapons, except us and the allies we have made, will be trapped in a magical seal if they try to enter our home without our permission. Please be aware of this. I have began the study of new kinds of magic from other worlds. It is most fascinating, and I am making progress. The sheer amount that I could learn intrigues me, and I feel keep me an apt student for a long time. With this new knowledge, I shall surely be even better equipped than before to prepare for the future. Something tells me I will need these abilities soon, too. Who knows what the future may bring, except the heavens themselves?

The City... to many, this place is somewhere they'd rather not be. To others, it gives a second chance. An opportunity. Perhaps they died in their world unaccomplished and came back to life here, or maybe they suffered in their home place and here have a chance to heal whatever it is that harms them so.

Curses or no, it gives this City at least some positive existence, and there will always be those grateful that it is here.

I digress. In this place, I feel I might be able to develop my spiritual magics more. I learnt much in the lands Orochi created, but I am sure this city might enable me to develop what I know further. I know of light and of wind; of focusing those elements into attacks, into the magic of musou, and into powerful seals, but there is always room for improvement, and I must absorb as much knowledge as I might from this place.

There appears to be a curse today. It is not one that will stop me from my observations and research, and my enjoying of the spirit of this celebration of 'Christmas.'

I come from a place of war, where many die for the sake of trying to unite the land. For myself, and those from my world, my time and place, this place may not be home, but it grants us a reprive of sorts at least. There are horrific curses sometimes, and much we do not understand, but sometimes we can enjoy the feeling of peace. This festival is a time to particularly enjoy it.

I offer my sincere wish that all get some enjoyment from this christmas, and seek to find as much joy as possible. To be negative is counterproductive; let us take what we can, hmm?

Now, what next..?

After exploring this city and learning more about the way it works, and its inhabitants, I have decided I must look for work. I have great wisdom, logic and intellect; this is not an arrogant statement, simply truth. There is much in which I could assist and be of use. I hope, therefore, it does not take too long to fulfill this objective.

Jiang Wei, I do not wish you to find work, at least yet. You must dedicate yourself to your studies.
